In partnership with SY Ecofit & Green Estate
Join The Green Estate CIC and SY Ecofit CIC for a thought-provoking event exploring how we can transform South Yorkshire into a greener, more resilient place for people and nature.
This half-day event will bring together professionals, community organisations, and sustainability advocates to discuss innovative approaches to urban retrofit, combining nature-based solutions with decarbonisation strategies. Through engaging talks, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities, we’ll explore practical ways to enhance biodiversity, reduce carbon emissions, and create healthier, more sustainable urban environments.
Key themes include:
- Integrated retrofit solutions – how built and natural environments can work together to decarbonise places
- Green skills and workforce development – the role of training and upskilling in supporting a thriving green economy
- Community-led innovation – how local collaboration can shape more sustainable and inclusive urban spaces
If you’re interested in the green economy, a sustainability expert or a community advocate, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect, share ideas, and be part of a growing movement towards urban resilience. Join us to shape the future of sustainable cities and drive meaningful change.
