What do we actually want from democracy? How do we develop community-level policy-making? Mayors, committees, referenda, deliberation or a mixture of all of the above? If so, how do we know 'what works' 'when' or 'why'? How do we improve 'democratic listening' instead of always increasing the noise levels? Are deliberative methods really the best way for tackling complex issues or are they just tokenistic tools to make us all feel better?

In this online discussion we'll be discussing these questions and lots more.
